- Whatever happens, try to keep a regular meal schedule, eating every four hours if possible. That way, you’ll maintain the correct alternation of hunger and satiety signals. Your body will clearly signal hunger and fullness in a way that will be easily recognisable. Eat slowly and don’t do it absent-mindedly, but devote time and attention to your meal.
- Drink water or beverages such as unsweetened tea and water with a squeeze of lemon juice between meals. That way, your body will stay hydrated the whole day.
- Use nutritionally rich, fresh, quality and wholegrain food to prepare your meals. In addition, keep your consumption of processed food to a minimum. Adapt servings as presented in the Donat guided health programmes (Imuno, Vital, Detox).
- Exercise daily or move as much as possible – go for a walk or climb some stairs, take a bike ride or join an exercise class.
